SAS programmer [Contract] (Stamford, CT)
3-6 month contract opening up in Stamford, CT.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of SAS programming experience.
- 5+ years of this experience MUST be in a multi-platform environment that includes MVS/Mainframe, UNIX and Windows.
- Experience with both MS Access and Excel is required.
- Experience with Cognos, BEx. MS SQL Server or TM1 is desirable.
- Experience creating or maintaining SAS macro libraries is desirable.
Needs: 40 hours per week.
Work/ Responsibilities:
- Creation of various customer defined Telemarketing and Direct Mail files in support of marketing programs. Files are encrypted and sent to fulfillment vendors.
- Creation of “Standard Batch” (formatted text files in TSYS prescribed formats) files to update TSYS based account information.
- Creation of various periodic reports to analyze the results of the individual marketing campaigns.
- Create reports and lists in MS Excel, Access, SAS data file and “flat file”/ text file formats.
